I have put on some weight...as stated in my 3rd week, I was down 20lbs. Now up 12lbs.
Not excercising as much as I want to (still a lot I can't do).
What I have been doing is Hot Yoga 3 times a week --- will be increasing to 5 times per week, starting Feb. 1st (still only able to do one quarter of the movements).
Yesterday was the first day I did some (light) weight training --- mostly upper body, nothing like I did pre-op, but it's a start.
I do feel it in my incision area. It's an extreme tight feeling.
I have a 10K race on Feb.16th, need to start training for that (even if I am force to walk it) I'd like to paticapate.
I have not craved wine, which is great & a surprise (anyone who knows me, knows it been a weekend staple in my life for the pass few decades)....but I am proud that I have not had any since New Years Eve.
But I still do crave my cheese.....I did have some at lunch today (nice slice of Brie with a few 12 grain (organic) crackers & a caffe latte).
Once I get back to the weight training & light jogging, it will melt off ---I am just glad that I can at least do the Yoga.
My goal in the next 14 days is to be down 10-12lbs....I'll keep you posted.
