DailyTip---Compound Exercises

Compound exercises burn more calories, activate more muscles


'When there is movement at more than one joint, the exercise is considered compound or mulit-joint. For example, during the bench press there is movement at the shoulder and elbow.

When compared to single-joint exercises, like a dumbbell flye, compound moves allow lifers to use more weight and recruit more muscle fibers.  This will lead to more calories burned overall.'
